Scope of Work
Design module and lessons online, including module and lesson outcomes/objectives, approved by the SMEs, Learning & Performance Specialist (LPS), AA and DPDM, and signed off by the DPDM.
Develop all lessons per the College s lesson outline. Each lesson will include a gaining attention section, recalling of previous content, transitions between related topics, interactions per content chunks , and formative knowledge checks with learner feedback. Interactions can include, but are not limited to, drag & drop, matching, gaming, animated vides, and vignettes.
Compose a summative evaluation for each module with learner feedback.
Develop a storyboard/prototype lesson in Storyline 360, approved by the SMEs, LPS, AA and DPDM and signed off by the DPDM.
Revise the prototype lesson and all supporting resources, complete a quality assurance check on the lesson and all supporting resources, upload the SCORM to Canvas, and build, format, and test functionality of the module/lesson with Canvas.
Develop and provide all supporting offline documents in support of each lesson including: a. learner worksheets b. printable job aids
Develop and provide all supporting offline documents associated courses and lessons.
Complete pilots for each project, incorporate feedback, and make final revisions including quality assurance checks, copy-editing, and narration.
Each module with its corresponding lessons and resources, will be considered complete when signed off by the DPDM as complete and final following the second pilot with the incorporated revisions. The DPDM makes the determination when each module, with its corresponding lessons and resources, is final.
Key Personnel Required Skills
Proven track record of at least 3-5 years experience in online curriculum design and development for adult learners.
One year of experience using Go Animate (Vyond) in online course development.
Knowledge of adult principles and theory and knowledge of best practices in online delivery as demonstrated through the submission of an online module s/he designed and developed using Articulate 360-storyline.
One year of experience evaluating the effectiveness of training.
Proven track record of at least 2-3 years of experience creating multimedia and SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) compliant learning modules as evidenced by submitting an online module s/he designed and developed using Articulate360-Storyline.
Proven track record of at least 2-3 years of experience designing online courses using Articulate360-Storyline which has been uploaded and calibrated into a LMS (Canvas experience preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively with College staff, the staff within the Department of Professional Development, and with stakeholders outside of the College at all levels.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to multi-task, managing several projects simultaneously and managing competing project deadlines.
Experience that includes non-technical learning development (i.e. soft skills, leadership, and supervisory course development).
Ability to skillfully refine existing courses using a previous ISD s design aesthetic.
Ability to work onsite at our offices in Annapolis Maryland, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, for the first 30 days and then work onsite two (2) days per week and work remotely three (3) days per week, provided deadlines are met and performance expectations are maintained.
