Job Description

As an Integrated Technologies Consultant, you will partner with Cerner clients for integrated technology deployment of hardware, software, and services. You will be responsible for cultivating client relationships to achieve business objectives as well as consult with clients on technical architecture decisions. In addition, you will also consult with clients and internal teams on the deployment of hardware, software and services, and manage third party and medical device integration across domains. As a member of the team, you will complete hardware and software installations for clients, while also supporting the client software functionality. In addition, you will be responsible for performing technical troubleshooting and issue resolution escalating as appropriate. Finally, you will need to understand the EHR system functionality and tools as well as stay up to date with system information changes and updates.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience
  • Experience working with iBus interface and Cerner solutions
  • Experience utilizing millennium utilities (HNAUser, Indus, Discern Visual developer, CCL)
  • Experience using FTP/SFTP
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Basic understanding of Citrix
  • Basic understanding of networking (DNS/SRV/A records/VLANs/ACLs/Firewalls
  • Experience navigating both windows and linux servers.
  • Troubleshooting experience (software and hardware experience)

Expectations

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • On-call rotation membership
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must live near or be willing to reside near Columbia, Missouri
