Job Description


The Integration Working Group Coordinator works with the Atlas Program Manager and business process engineering workstream lead to provide functional operations support to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Functional Program Offices. Provide assistance with enterprise wide coordination, communication and integration of functional aspects of DMLSS/Logicole system, including data management, operations and maintenance, training, policies and procedures, etc.; inputs, position and policy pertaining to VA/VHA logistics solutions into enterprise wide VA facilities. Atlas Research is seeking a functional specialist versatile in the areas of federal healthcare technology management, asset management and biomedical engineering services to provide management support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Functional Community Directors, their associated IWG and the VALOR Program Office to develop and communicate DMLSS/LogiCole functional utilization SOP(s) for each site implementation
  • Provide demonstrations and associated materials to functional community stakeholders and end users about DMLSS/Logicole applications and capabilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate IWG meetings
  • Coordinate IWG tasks with VALOR program office/ fielding teams
  • Tailor the current DMLSS/LogiCole fundamentals Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for IWG members to include VA-specific Supply Chain Management processes
  • Review the DMLSS/LogiCole releases for implementation and integration to the local functional biomedical engineering departments
  • Revise and maintain frequently asked questions supporting the biomedical engineering functional community and their specific business processes.
  • Support monthly IWG meeting materials, minutes and action-item tracking
  • Manage work to allocated effort and schedule
  • Provides inputs and/or draft weekly and monthly reports both graphically and written text

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master s degree from a licensed or accredited institution
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working as a coordinator for a systems/IT implementation
  • Functional, training, and/or project management/coordination experience with DMLSS
  • Experience writing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong quality control standards with attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions

  • Ability to frequently change priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Team player with ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Effective time management skills with emphasis on quality and timely completion of tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Strong proficiency Microsoft Office Suite tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship indefinitely
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a federal consulting environment
  • Experience in requirements development and/or writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for systems implementations, preferably DMLSS
  • Experience in managing/coordinating working groups and implementation tasks in a Supply Chain/Logistics related environment
  • Experience with financial services and systems at VA Medical Centers or Defense Health Agency medical treatment facilities
  • Experience working with, or interest in working with Federal Medical Supply Chain Programs
