Senior JDE Business Analyst Finance
Our client is a privately held billion dollar manufacturing firm located in Minneapolis, MN. Team size in JDE is 20, Thirty locations, on JDE 9.x now, fully implemented. Extremely low turnover, a fantastic profit sharing plan that pays out monthly, bonus eligible. This position reports to the Director of Business Systems. no 3rd parties please.
JDE Business Analyst Responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the business system users, serving as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions. This position reports to the Director of Business Systems. Focused on manufacturing, inventory management, item maintenance, work orders, scheduling, MRP, purchasing, receiving, etc. |
Primary Responsibilities · Identify, analyze, communicate and resolve technical issues related to the use of the JD Edwards business system. · Assist business units with system enhancements, bug fixes, training and other support. · Identify opportunities for the use of technology to improve profitability, productivity and efficiency. o Business system improvements (software changes) o Improvements to business processes o Integration enhancements (shop floor, etc.) · Review and assess current processes on a company-wide basis and determine where improvements to process and economies of scale can reduce cost. · Participate in company-wide process improvement efforts. · Provide system integration support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, shop floor and any related systems. · Identify and develop business requirements for projects and enhancement requests. o Interact with system users to understand their needs o Translate business requirements for technical implementation o Test new enhancements and bug fixes o Provide documentation and training o Review design and documentation with fellow Business Analysts so that others are aware of the request and can provide input, feedback, clarification, and correction if needed. · Respond to user support requests and log Incidents in the IT Support ticketing system. · This position will include some after-hours support and may include travel up to 20% of the time. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field · 3 years business analyst and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment · 3 years hands on experience and detailed knowledge of JD Edwards or other ERP system with the ability to apply this knowledge to business requirements. · Experience within the Materials Management and Demand To Available functional areas (Inventory Management, Item Maintenance, Scheduling, MRP, etc.)
