Job Description

  • Design, implementation, Migration and maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, Clustering, Terminal Services, LDAP and windows scripting/automation.
  • Hands on experience in setting up computers image, network connections/setup, windows infrastructure and configuration. Image device for Windows 10 version and user applications
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Clustering, Terminal services, security, PowerShell scripting and Windows Update Services (WSUS).
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and replaces new equipment (e.g. servers, storage)
  • Manage and lead small to medium size Infrastructure related projects
  • Educate the frontline L1 and L2 staff and be the point of escalation
  • Availability Management & Operating Level Management: Performs root cause analysis, resolves problems and recommends solutions
  • Analyzes system performance and provides preventative maintenance while providing maximum availability of physical and virtual servers (e.g. new software releases, upgrades, evaluation and installation of patches)
  • Works towards providing a fully redundant high availability infrastructure at all times
  • Ensures that backup/recovery plans are tested regularly, and backup/recovery procedures are implemented
  • Develops automation scripts and programs to streamline manual operations and reduce manpower requirement in maintenance and monitoring activities
  • Performs troubleshooting/issue resolution, escalates issues to appropriate 3rd party vendor if needed
  • Knowledge on SCCM tool for Patch Management and Package Distribution
  • Respond to and participate in resolution of endpoint security compromises, malware, vulnerabilities and zero-day attacks
  • ITIL Process knowledge (Problem, Incident, Change Management)
  • Key Responsibilities - Performs architecture governance, infrastructure design and builds, availability management and operation level management, and maintenance and support activities for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), POS devices, antivirus, and system center configuration management (SCCM) systems
  • Manages and supports clients leveraging tools like SCCM/VDI administration
