Job Title: Japanese-English bilingual IT Helpdesk Engineer

Location:  NYC

Job Description:

This position to provide the 1st 2nd level technical support to a client company located in Manhattan.

  • Serving as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone and email.
  • Performing troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions with remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems associated with hardware, application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, network multi-function printers, mobile devices, phones, video conference systems and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
  • Communicate with Server/Network/Application team to escalate issues when needed.
  • Provide trainings to users.
  • Maintain inventory of devices, installed software, manage software licensing and create policies and procedures for upgrades.

Qualifications:
Windows 7-10, Microsoft Office 365, AntivirSecurity patch Software McAfee, Symantec, etc.), Active Directory (IDPW), Virtual Desktop, VMware, Helpdesk ticketing systems, VDI

An ideal candidate must have:

- Business level speaking, reading and writing skills in both Japanese and English.

- At least 1-3 years of Helpdesk experience in a corporate business environment.

- Analytical skill to resolve problems and ability to learn quickly.

- Excellent communication skills (via phone) with mature teamwork skills within the corporate environment.

- BS in IT, computer science or relevant field.

Hourly Rate:  $20 - $25 (D.O.E.)
