. POSITION SUMMARY:
Designs, builds and tests in various software technologies, application programs in accordance with a specified business need and in a way that achieves the development goals for assigned projects. Application developers typically work as part of a project team, and also communicate progress, technical issues and their resolution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs
Collaborate with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end to end technical solutions
Perform coding to written technical specifications
Test the resulting components in accordance with company standards and as defined in approved testing plans
Investigate, analyze and document reported defects – raising issues as appropriate
Analyze run time profiles to debug errors that may exist
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards
3or more years J2EE development experience
2 or more years of Spring Framework development
2 or more years of Oracle SQL Queries
2 or more years of REST Web Service development
Bachelors degree required
