Responsibilities

 

  • Provide program support to the customization, configuration, management, and maintenance of a structured data base web service that will enable observation-based intelligence (OBI).
  • Perform a variety of engineering programming tasks for this initiative that is responsible for the production, archiving and dissemination of this IC customer's data in support of the production of IC intelligence products.
  • Work with IC analysts and management team as well as AIA Technical Executive in managing finished geospatial intelligence information and maintenance of office data and web services.
  • Support the development/maintenance of software code to support intelligence oriented products. 
  • Interface and coordinate with other AIA and PJ team members, PJ’s web team and AIA and PJ management
  • Act, with AIA oversight, as technical advisor to OBI and mission partner.
  • Act, with AIA oversight, as a customer advocate.
  • Assist in developing/maintaining interactive databases & web services in support of OBI and to allow information sharing with IC, DoD and military commands on analytic efforts, joint products and sharing of data.
  • Promote future growth of IC customer's structured database capability and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with AIA office oversight.
  • Disseminate finished geospatial intelligence information as directed by AIA management.
  • Work through NSG analysts to gather information and potential requirements.

 

Qualifications - Required

 

  • Bachelors degree in a related field, or the equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of three (9) years of experience in Multi-Media web development
  • An Active in-scope TS/SCI
  • Strong JAVA programming skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing web based applications and services.
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical solutions to complex problems within a team-centric environment.
  • Strong ability to plan, lead and implement the successful completion of major project initiatives and efforts, as required.
  • Demonstrated experience with web services and manipulating XML.

 

Qualifications – Desired

 

  • In-depth technical knowledge of Enterprise Operating systems, architecture and effective people skills.
  • Strong knowledge of IC customer's organization, mission, functions, and processes used within the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with advanced computer hardware and software technology and databases.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community, specifically imagery dissemination.

  • Develops content, and maintains associated systems for agency internal and/or external web sites, including sites hosted on classified networks. 
  • Plans, designs, and performs content enhancements and/or updates to websites.
  • Recommends best practices, develops guidance and content standards, and ensures best practices and quality standards are met and maintained. 
  • Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.

  • Provides remote-access training via video teleconferencing, and video production. 
  • Plans, executes, directs, and edits multi-media project productions in support of government customer task requirements and strategic objectives.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree in a related field, or the equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Multi-Media web development to include:
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with at least Oracle 10g or above
    • At least eight months experience with JAVA 1.6
  • An Active in-scope TS/SCI
  • Knowledge of Java, using Hibernate and Spring Framework in an agile development to create web services for the Continuity Planning Tool
  • Ability to develop webpages using JavaServerPages (JSP), combined with JavaScript and various JavaScript libraries knowledge (like jQuery) also essential
  • Experience with Oracle 10g or above as a Database Administrator and Developer, to include writing Standard Query Language (SQL) queries, DDL, and author Oracle procedures, triggers, and views
  • Knowledge of Apache Tomcat 6 and above
  • HTML & CSS authoring experience
  • Ability to create and edit graphics
