Job Description





We are looking for a qualified Jira Administrator to join our IT operations team based in Playa Vista,CA as a lead for developing and maintaining Jira and Confluence implementation. Under the direction of the IT Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a test environment, updating, and building new integrations while maintaining Jira/Confluence. If you have 3+ years minimum of experience as a Jira Administrator, we encourage you to submit an application.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for administration, maintenance, upgrades and enhancements.
Create custom workflows, post functions, and validators, make changes to workflows, screens, fields, and reporting.
Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports
Serve as a resource for migrations to ensure adoption of development and workflow processes, address user questions and develop training.
Experience in administering complex Jira environments.
Migrating systems from other tools to Jira and building high-quality system in support of business operations.
Create, manage, and review security permissions.
Assist in troubleshooting JIRA & Confluence user issues
Add/remove users and groups.
Provide training for new and existing users.
Evaluate new plugins, new versions, and related software.
Work with the systems and database teams to assure solid administration of the Linux servers and MS-SQL environments supporting the Atlassian tools.
Establish and promote best practices for the usage of Atlassian tools.
Help guide and maintain the organization of data in Atlassian tools.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in JIRA & Confluence administration involving creation and management of custom, complex projects, workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards and reports configurations
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or work equivalent
Excellent understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
Excellent knowledge of SDLC and experience working with Agile teams
Ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization
Ability to analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement
Excellent problem-solving skills, process implementation skills
Experience with scripting / programming / automation strongly preferred
Experience creating JIRA plugins, scripts or reports using the Atlassian REST APIs strongly preferred
Experience creating, configuring and maintaining a JIRA server strongly preferred
