Job Description
Need a Jira expert for 3-6 months to implement JIRA to help development teams deliver more value through effective use of JIRA. Own the enterprise-standard “JIRA for Agile” templates. Train users and other JIRA administrators, creating playbooks on JIRA, JIRA Portfolio, and partnering with Agile coaches on engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Implementation and ongoing JIRA management and ownership including user management, workflow management, project board management, and JIRA portfolio management
• Maintain workflows, screens, dashboards, etc. to serve as templates for Agile teams across the enterprise
• Lead a change management process to continuously improve the above
• Help JIRA admin around the firm apply templates to their own instances
• Identify and advocate for the needs of Agile JIRA teams (e.g., new plugins) with enterprise tooling teams
• Train teams, users, and JIRA administrators
• Create playbooks for using JIRA for Agile and Scaled Agile activities, LEAN metrics tracking, reporting and dashboard management
• Act as JIRA Administrator for Enterprise Agile’s JIRA instance (project creation and customization, user management, troubleshooting and user support)
• JIRA lifecycle management: Jira updates and add-ons (advice and recommendations)
• Integration with any internally used software; code management tools, data migration, and overall SDLC management
• Maintaining contacts with Atlassian and participation in JIRA communities of practice

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of experience in Agile/Scaled Agile environment owning and managing JIRA software
Tooling and process expert with Agile values and practical experience
• JIRA and JIRA Portfolio administration (workflow management, user management, data management and clean up, plan management)
• Understanding of JIRA from SDLC management standpoint
• Experience Training and Mentoring individuals and teams
• Member of JIRA community
• JIRA migration experience, experience with branch-based development and integration
• Service orientation (JIRA ownership, troubleshooting, upgrades)
• Experience with reporting and portfolio management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
