Job Title: Jr. Software Developer
Designs and develops systems-level software and provides systems support by performing the following duties. Builds Web sites using Internet and scripting languages by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
Analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources.
Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting desktop, browser and server based software including data transformation, warehousing, web applications and sites to support business requirements.
Designs and maintains SQL databases required to support data warehousing and software applications.
Develops Web sites and applications using ASP.NET and current technologies and methodologies including MVC, MVVM and HTML5.
Provides assistance and routine consultation to users in the development and maintenance of software.
Acts as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products, especially with regard to problem diagnosis and resolution.
Plans and executes software version upgrade releases and custom interfaces.
Recommends selection, approval, and acquisition of hardware, software, networking components, and services.
Installs, configures, and tests workstations with supporting hardware, software, and networking components.
Works closely with customers and technical staff on the specifics of projects, new technologies, and project deadlines.
Remains up to date on latest development tools for desktop and browser based applications.
Receives feedback from quality assurance testing and make necessary changes.

Education and/or Experience: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
Language Skills: English
Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows desktop operating systems. Proficient with Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5 and higher, C#, VB, VB.Net, ASPX.NET, MVC, SQL Server 2000 and higher. Proficient with development and maintenance of ASPX.NET websites and applications. Proficiency with Crystal Reports is a plus.
