About the Role:
The Jr. BC/DR Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, scheduling, follow up, problem resolution and status reporting on global Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing and projects. The Jr. Coordinator will liaise with members of the Business Continuity and IT teams and assist with BCP/DR projects.
Job Duties in Brief:
Planning, execution, and post-implementation activities for projects within the Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery team.
Assist with development and regular review of BCP and DR and documentation.
Maintaining SharePoint portals with current sites and archiving old data.
Utilizing our Service Desk online tool to search and create Change Orders, Request tickets, as well as maintaining status in SharePoint.
Create and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery testing and metric reports.
Data entry and analysis of testing results using SharePoint and other online tools.
Professional email and phone communication with teams across many countries and time zones. This includes scheduling and leading conference calls.
Learn the processes and procedures to be followed for different locations in the event of an office outage.
Assist with planning and execution of VDI BCP testing (virtual BCP testing)
Update DR/BCP documentation upon request.
Participate in BCP /DR testing and recovery activities. Will include some non-business hours and weekend work.
Assist with managing BCP/DR project schedules.
Requires a Bachelor s Degree or equivalent with 1 3 years of technology experience
Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and documentation skills; Must be able to communicate professionally
Ability to be self-directed when required; Self-starter
Organized and able to keep track of many tasks at one time. Able to prioritize work according to deadlines.
Demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.
Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations for business.
Familiar with IT operations
