Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Model Based Systems Engineer - this position is contingent upon award.Primary travel is in the National Capital Region. Some travel to CA, AZ and NJ (Max 20 trips during the year)

Work with the Senior MBSE lead on define and decompose requirements, develop processes to capture and manage design data associated with complex integrated naval systems, and develop and validate model data. Prepare the tools (scripts, templates, etc.) necessary to support configuration control for architecture diagrams. Generate reports and DoDAF products from model data to answer datacalls and inform decision analysis activities. Design and develop automated reports from model data to support engineering activities. Research and develop software scripts to integrate established models with external models that contain data relevant Naval systems. Support engineering change processes and configuration management processes through development of models. Evaluate, provide input to, and recommend use cases and associated implementation strategies for the application of MBSE to the customer. Research, design and generate graphical user interfaces that provide access to models and associated reports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific/Technical Discipline
1-5 years of Working knowledge and experience in developing SysML models at the project and system level.
Experience with requirements modeling, use-case analysis, interface representation, parametric definition, or profile creation using SysML and Cameo System Modeler and Cameo Enterprise Architect
Knowledge of DoDAF 2.0

Desired Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Engineering or Scientific/Technical Discipline
