Job Description




  • Responsibilities


    The Project Coordinator will monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, status reports and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.  Additional responsibilities include:



    • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.

    • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.

    • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

    • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.



    •  




      • Follow up with task owners and send reminders that tasks are due.

      • Determining project changes.

      • Providing administrative support as needed.

      • Undertaking project tasks as required.

      • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

      • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

      • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

      • Create and maintain a project management calendar.



    Qualifications and Skills


    Qualifications




      • A bachelor's degree in computer information systems or a related field of study and at least three (3) years of project coordination experience is required for consideration.

      • Preference given to Project Coordinators who have worked on data warehouse or other data-related implementations



    Experience




      • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

      • Experience with MS Project and Smartsheet Preferred

      • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

      • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life-cycle

      • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
