Lead .Net Developer

Job Overview 

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's application systems. Provide an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. Understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Work closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and to ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions. Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements.  

 

How You’ll Contribute:


  • Design, document, implement, test, deploy, and support software systems
  • Provide direct support to production systems where developer expertise is necessary and support escalated issues received from other functional business units.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for primary domains as well as mentorship to junior members of development team as needed
  • Provide iterative input into the software development process and change management systems as they continue to evolve to meet business and customer needs
  • Work with a high level of independence or a high level of collaboration as needed
  • Partner with the application architect and development manager to provide technical leadership for the team and other stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned




What You’ll Bring: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience 
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) a plus 
  • 8+ years of experience in software development 
  • Exceptional SQL, C#, and .NET experience required  
  • Experience with code generation and CodeSmith Generator required
  • Healthcare experience preferred
