Job Details

We are looking for a Lead ETL Development for our client in New York, NY
Job Title: Lead ETL Development
Job Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new ETL processes, implement complex enhancements, and modify existing code using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Work independently to develop, configure, and unit test programs from specifications (source-to-target mappings).
  • Collaborate with data architects, reporting teams, and application teams on ETL development efforts.
  • Design and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work efforts, and provide task status updates.
  • Coordinate development work of ETL developers across onshore and offshore teams, allocate tasks, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical support for Informatica administration and production support.
  • Deliver level-three troubleshooting, baseline, and operational support.
  • Create and maintain best practices and methodologies for ETL development.
  • Prepare runbooks describing and supporting developed code, including production support procedures.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the data warehouse environment in collaboration with offshore teams.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders when required.
Technical Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in a lead development role for a data warehouse.
  • 10+ years of experience in Informatica development, maintenance, and enhancements (Mappings, Workflows, Processes).
  • Strong experience with complex SQL for ETL development.
  • Expertise with integration technologies and processes.
General Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Kimball, Inmon, and Millbrook design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and techniques.
  • Experience in Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of EDW reconciliation solutions.
