Job Description

Dogwood Management Partners, an SDVOSB, is seeking a well-qualified individual for a Lead Java Developer opening we have in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is under a contract with a federal agency and is an immediate need. This is a full-time position that includes a competitive salary, plus benefits. However, this role can also be set up on a Corp-to-Corp hourly basis as well.

 

U.S. Citizens only with an Active DOD Secret Clearance, please. Others will not receive a response. Due to the DOD clearance requirement, no third party, visa, or green card holders can be considered. 

 

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop J2EE components as part of the Secure Flight development team
  • Perform unit and integration testing as needed
  • Perform code maintenance based on problem reports and production issues
  • Documentation of software design and code 

 

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship

Active DOD Secret Clearance

 

Required Technical Skills:

5 years of hands-on experience in the following:

  • Strong Object-Oriented design skills
  • Strong J2EE web development skills
  • Implementation experience with continuous integration practice (ClearCase, Subversion, Hudson, Cruise Control, Test Director, etc.)
  • Knowledge of DHTML, JavaScript, DOM, CSS and AJAX, DoJo
  • Knowledge of the following frameworks: Struts 2, Hibernate, Spring
  • Knowledge of XML, XML Schemas, XSLT, SOAP and related technologies

 

Desired Technical Skills:

3+ years of hands-on experience in the following:

  • WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
  • Knowledge of OLAP or Relational Databases (e.g. MSSQL, Oracle, DB2)
  • Knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker
  • AIX
  • MQ
  • Java Certification
