Lead UAS Program Engineer in Washington, D.C.- TS/SCI Clearance

We are seeking a Lead Program Engineer to join our Team as we support the development and utilization of advanced UAS, sensor, and exploitation technologies dedicated to national security. In this highly visible role our selected candidate will demonstrate proven experience providing UAS subject matter expertise and advising Government agencies on UAS services and/or the operation of UAS programs, while supporting the monitoring of UAS production progress, including identify issues which could impact major milestone deliverables; recommending solutions, and assisting with the development of briefings and white papers to support the understanding of production progress.

The team

Systems Engineering

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

U.S. Citizenship is required as is an active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Qualifications

Required Experience:

12+ years of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) engineering experience, including at least 6 years of UAS experience

Bachelor's Degree from Accredited College or University

Proven experience supporting the development and utilization of advanced UAS, sensor, and exploitation technologies entailing:

S upporting UAS engineering and logistics planning, acquisition planning, as well as technical and systems evaluation of new systems

Overseeing the development of statements of work, equipment lists, and technical data packages while supporting the monitoring of UAS production progress, including identify issues which could impact major milestone deliverables; recommending solutions, and assisting with the development of briefings and white papers to support the understanding of production progress.

Overseeing the development of basic integrated solutions, including testing and integrating hardware and software, to facilitate the cost effective delivery of systems/capabilities

Analyzing data to determine appropriate system specifications; define and refine basic system specifications to meet mission requirements, and coordinate and review final technical documentation to include specifications, engineering reports, and maintenance and user manuals

Providing UAS subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and advising Government agencies on UAS services and/or the operation of UAS programs, as well as experience supporting interagency test and evaluation (T&E) of UAS systems and sensors.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Current active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Preferred Experience

Master's degree in Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering strongly preferred

Experience working with or supporting General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper systems or sensors

Experience supporting mission systems and sensors including:

Experience supporting the development and analysis of cost estimates, UAS program budgets, staffing, and flight hours

Experience developing technical analytics and trade studies on UAS and sensors including requirements analysis and market research

Experience preparing acquisition documentation including Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), statements of work (SOWs), sole source justifications, and waivers for UAS and sensors
