Please note that this is a 9 months contract position.
-Serve as a front end to our engineering team at the customer for multiple CommScope CPE products.
-Work with CommScope Sales Engineering, Program Management, Software Development teams to efficiently resolve customer reported defects.
-Visit customer sites and work hands-on with customer s engineering and QA staff to troubleshoot, gather key information and diagnose reported issues.
-C/C++ programming language fluency
-Linux development and troubleshooting experience
-CPE networking protocol background. TCP/IP, IP routing, LAN and WAN protocols, Wi-Fi, both IPv4 and IPv6.
-OpenWRT development/deployment experience preferred
- DOCSIS (Data Over Cable standard) experience a plus.
-Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and explain complex technical problems
-Ability to communicate with CommScope s customers clearly and professionally
-Must be able to work largely independently and remote from CommScope engineering staff
Education/years of experience
Bachelor s Degree and 4-6 years of related experience
