DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Manager or Project Engineer:
Frequency / % of Time
Review new project documentation and plan project. Interface with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to schedule the project. Coordinate handoff of project requirements from Sales Manager to internal customers. Manage the timely submittal of project deliverables including drawings, schedules, invoices, etc.
Work with Solutions Engineer to specify components and issue purchase orders internally and externally. Manage cost of project and delivery schedule. Manage external installation contractors. Work with Service Manager to schedule startup and commissioning of systems.
Travel to customer site for preliminary inspections, surveys, and project implementation meetings as needed.
Coordinate with a Solutions Engineer to complete the project drawing package. This may involve creating AutoCad drawings as needed.
Accurately report costs to Project coordinator and Finance manager upon completion of project.
SECTION IV: EXPECTED OUTPUTS
(A list of the results used to demonstrate satisfactory job performance – i.e., number of units assembled, typed words per minute, number of sales calls per week, etc.)
Primary measure of performance will be the completion of assigned projects within the determined margin targets and on the expected schedule. Thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail is expected to reduce customer review iterations and issues arising during production or installation due to design. Secondary measure will be ability to follow up in a timely manner with internal, external customers and colleagues, and to meet and prioritize all deadlines appropriately.
