The MDM Business Analyst provides both business and technical analysis to enable the optimal integration of the MDM application, Reltio, into the Optum enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

Understand customer and business needs and identifies areas where business processes can be optimized to better serve those needs

Provide quality control, mentorship and guidance to the MDM Architect

Investigate data questions and analyze the data to identify trends and to improve data processes

Identify and resolve issues, such as deduplication

Maintain Hierarchies and develop business Roles

Perform data profiling and analysis in order to craft business and data requirements to deliver quality data to support the business

Convert business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

Produce deliverables as needed: (e.g., work breakdown structure, product backlog of detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, data dictionary, business rules, wireframes, workflow diagrams, process diagrams and system interaction diagrams, etc.).

Provide significant input to system specifications and design.

Act as the business analyst team lead on larger projects and initiatives.

Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members.

Use Agile implementation methods

Required Qualifications:

Technology experience in the following:

CRM, healthcare services systems
Experience with relational databases DB2, Oracle, SQL Server or others
Data warehouses, UML
MDM solutions

Experience with:

Requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
Data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
Support of User Acceptance Testing.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3 years of experience with Master Data Management

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent
Experience with hybrid (cloud/on premises) integration architecture patterns is highly desirable
Business value focused cloud computing enthusiast
3-5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Development, and solutions implementation, preferably in Master Data Management
Experience with large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces and data conversion
Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment
