We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join the department of Early Clinical Development informatics (ECDi) in ECD, within client’s Research and Early Development (gRED) organization. The successful candidate will participate in the development and execution of AI tools for medical image analysis, specifically in respiratory disease areas, with the ultimate goal of prognosis and disease progression modeling.
You will be part of a group of machine learning scientists and data scientists working on different areas of respiratory diseases.
You will closely collaborate with physicians, statisticians and bio informaticians across departments in the organization.
You will work under the guidance of AI Scientists to develop machine learning methods for the analysis of imaging and non-imaging data and processes, with focus on new biomarker discoveries and disease progression modeling.
You will be expected to collaborate on publications, and present results at internal and external scientific conferences.
Masters or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics)
Strong proficiency in machine learning and deep learning.
Proficiency in Python and Pytorch/Tensorflow.
Record of achievement, including at least one high-impact first author publication or equivalent.
Additional desired qualifications
Experience with computer vision and medical imaging.
At least two years of industry experience as a data scientist or ML engineer in a healthcare company or academia.
Public portfolio of AI projects.
