Job Summary


The Data Team Manager is responsible for the management of 17 individuals to 1) support Population Sciences principal investigators to design and maintain their study data, and 2) to support the various Multi Disciplinary Groups with their data abstraction needs.


Strong managerial ability is required. Knowledge of data design principles required. Knowledge ofSQLand ability to query datasets to answer business questions is required. Knowledge ofHCIdata structures is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.


Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected


Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.

Responsibilities


1.Represent Population Sciences interests to our Institutional partners (e.g., Senior Leadership, Administration, Research Informatics,UPDB,RGE,IRB, etc.).


2.Manage central Population Sciences Data Team (7FTE).


3.Manage the Multi Disciplinary Group data abstraction group (10FTE).


4.Manage access, design, and study data forCCR.


5.Manage access, design, and study data forRSR.


6.Work with Research Informatics (RI) team on issues related to query tool, study database design, study questionnaire data capture, etc.


7.Work with Population Sciences Pis on study design, intake, issues, etc.


8.Other duties as assigned.
