Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate and build trusted relationships across the organization and serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the digital transformation organization to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, test, and implement digital solutions
  • Serve as trusted advisor to stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of business needs, ensuring cost-effective delivery of digital solutions to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to ensure an exceptional digital experience
  • Establish working groups with stakeholders to understand and document key product opportunities, requirements and use cases
  • Act as the voice of the customer (customers, employees, and partners) internally and be the expert that can deliver solutions and experience designs based on the customer s needs, wants, pain-points and opportunities
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross-functional digital transformation team
  • Communicate program progress to stakeholders to obtain agreement and signoff
  • Work closely with Portfolio Management and Project Management Office s on project prioritization and sprint planning
  • Drive and lead agile delivery, recognizing that speed-to-impact is critical, and achieve this through highly interact digital interactions

  • Develop and maintain a People First culture where team members are enabled to take accountability, to collaborate cross-functionally, to inspire the best in each other, and to care for each other
  • Drive a strong digital experience mindset within the IT team and a strong service leadership mindset

Digital Experience

  • Lead the digital product experience activities for a program or product group.
  • Applies expertise in state of the art digital technologies.
  • Employs design thinking to bring world-class experiences to market across multiple touch points.
  • Guides teams in implementing data driven and user centered methodologies to optimize digital experiences across dotcom, mobile and emerging platforms to drive KPIs.
  • Guides team in developing best in class processes to collect data, member feedback, derive insights, and inform digital decisions.
  • Collaborates with and influences senior leaders, product managers, developers, vendors, designers and other stake holders to ensure successful product strategies and product/ feature launches.
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
  • Relevant information technology and/or business experience, including significant time within a digital function
  • Experience with team leadership or leading matrixed or cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing and mentoring high-performance teams
  • Must be current with digital and mobile technology trends, in the area of application architecture with best practices within the digital development ecosystem
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work side by side in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding and experience with QA testing
  • Proficient in running workshops and using feedback to develop design prototypes
  • Solid understanding of visual design for web and mobile including how to elevate design
  • Functional knowledge of digital commerce business processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of taking a digital platform from design through production/release
  • Experience building a UX team, hiring designers and analyst and setting direction
  • Deep understanding of how to apply the methodologies of interaction design and research to digital platform development for both web and mobile
  • Ability to describe and defend the value of UX to cross-functional stakeholders
  • An understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies
  • Basic knowledge of ITSM and processes to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible when errors occur to minimize the impact to business operations.
  • Understanding and experience with content and content creation.
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • Experience coordinating work of different web contributors, who might have different priorities or ideas.
  • Experience in identifying gaps, site redundancies and ensuring content follows approved standards and structure in order to be compliant.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects/task at once while managing a diverse group of employees.
  • Gamification experience and deployment/integration of machine learning and AI is relevant
