Job Description

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position.

Must be able to work rotating A/B shift, including weekends based on business needs. No exceptions.

Recommended Skills & Qualifications: Desire and demonstrated ability to produce quality products 100% of the time. Attention to detail and tasks being performed in order to identify potential changes and/or problems with the processes and products. Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity. Able to follow verbal and written instructions and consistently demonstrate compliance. Asks questions when unclear of direction or instructions. Able to communicate with team members in a positive manner. Able to work independently as well as alongside team members. Able to visually inspect products and components for defects. Basic computer literacy. Experience/Education: Experience in a manufacturing environment not necessary, but preferred High School Diploma or GED required. Physical Work Conditions Demands Standing for long periods of time Wearing personal protective equipment for long periods of time, including the use of a face mask while in the cleanroom environment Some lifting, not to exceed 50 lbs. Work Schedule Must be able to work rotating A/B shift, including weekends based on business needs. No exceptions.
Summary: Uses computer controlled equipment and manual processes to manufacture and package components for medical diagnostics products. Conducts basic quality inspections and appropriately disposes hazardous waste. Responsibilities: Understand and comply with Quality System requirements. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including quality, safety and others Prepare, set-up and assemble components needed for production Operate equipment for the assembly and processing required to produce finished products Complete assignments in a timely fashion, staying on task, minimize interruptions of work. Package and/or prepare all products per procedures Maintain high standards for quality and workmanship of the products Participate in periodic cleaning activities Assist team members. Process paperwork accurately and neatly. Maintain a clean, neat and organized work space. Report to work on time, including returning from breaks and lunch periods. Be helpful and encouraging. Any other duties assigned. Work Schedule Must be able to work in a three shift environment (A, B, C), including weekends based on business needs. No exceptions.
