Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Internet Strategy and Digital Content Marketing team serve as a central strategic leader in the exploration, development, execution, and analysis of a digital strategy that connects the people of the world to the people of Johns Hopkins Medicine. The Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management/Physician Relationship Management (CRM/PRM) Architect reports to the Director, Internet Marketing and Social Engagement in Marketing & Communications and Information Technology Sr. Manager. Through deep collaboration and partnership with Information technology (IT), this role will be responsible for meeting Marketing and Communications objectives while dual reporting into the JHM Technology Innovation Center for foundational understanding of our IT infrastructure, ecosystem, architecture standards and software development methodology.
This role is a core technical resource responsible for the architecture design, development, maintenance, administration, and continuous improvement of marketing automation and CRM/PRM solutions. This role works closely with the Data Analytics Analyst, Sr. CRM and Marketing Automation specialist and the CRM Administrator to build requirements and translate these requirements into sophisticated segmentations/personas, automations and journey buildouts, which integrate and push and pull key data elements from our Healthgrades/Appian, Epic, Sitecore and Salesforce Marketing Cloud technologies.
This role serves the enterprise, inclusive of the Johns Hopkins Health System, School of Medicine and all its divisions and departments. This highly collaborative role requires a balance of strong technical skills and a high digital marketing acumen. Being the first technology architect in Marketing and Communications with deep grounding in IT, this new role will help shape our MarTech journey and will be responsible for the full business architecture design throughout the entire lifecycle (build, testing, validation and maintenance).
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including cloud-based products on Azure.
• Experience with a ticketing system, such as JIRA, ServiceNow preferred
• Experience with Sitecore platform and integrations a plus
• Healthcare experience preferred
