Job Description

We believe that we are already the number one global provider of MDM software solutions on the Microsoft platform, with the our MDM Platform being the product suite at the hub of our success. Our MDM Platform is used by numerous organizations today as their MDM technology of choice to solve multi-domain master data problems.
Location: We are looking for individuals in locations with ready access to customers in the New England area. Candidates should live near a major airport, and be prepared to travel very extensively within the sales region.

Reporting Relationship: Account Executive reports directly to the VP of Sales - East
The Opportunity: The Account Executive is responsible for contributing to our continued growth and success by building market share and selling the MDM Platform suite in their assigned region. The Account Executive will drive and proactively manage all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation through interest, proof, proposal, pricing, and negotiation and closing. Success in this role is measured directly from generation of sales revenues for on-premise and cloud based subscriptions in the territory and meeting the agreed sales targets for all of the software suite and professional services.


Candidates should have enterprise software sales knowledge/experience, and be technically adept. Experience selling the Microsoft Application Platform or other enterprise-grade CRM applications is preferred.


Responsibilities: Specifically, the Sr. Regional Account Executive will perform or lead the following activities:

  • To generate the Master Data Management sales pipeline necessary to meet the agreed revenue targets for their assigned territory
  • To use the Company CRM, to record activity, forecast business, and provide complete transparency into the sales process for each prospective customer.
  • To accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales revenues and report back to Management on a timely basis
  • To build deep relationships and establish creditability with the Microsoft Field Sales team(s) in their assigned area to generate sales leads for Maestro. In particular to work collaboratively with Microsoft account executives, solution sales professionals (SSPs) and technical solution professionals (TSPs) and other Microsoft field roles as needed.
  • To lead workshops and road show presentations to educate prospects and the Microsoft field team(s) on the MDM space and the MDM Platform solution set.
  • To leverage the central expertise available in R & D, Quality Control, Marketing, and Implementation consulting, as and when required, when moving prospects through the sales cycle.
  • To work with existing Consulting partners to further develop the business and penetrate new markets.To identify, coach and engage with new consulting partners

Background/Experience: Top candidates will have at least 5 years of successful sales experience, with a minimum of 1 year experience in the enterprise software market. The successful candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn, adapt and continually apply learned skills to the ongoing sales process. Experience selling the Microsoft Application Platform or other enterprise grade CRM applications is a advantage. The individual will be a proven self starter and will be able to work with minimal direct supervision. He/she will also be have a strong desire to quickly become technically proficient in the Maestro product and the related Microsoft product with the ability to get hands on being essential. The ideal candidate will have or demonstrate an ability to develop the following skills:

  • In depth understanding of the needs of client companies.
  • Experience selling solutions to business leaders in the MDM industry.
  • Consummate solution sales skills, which include a lead by example , leading from the front and hands-on style
  • A strong interest in technology and the ability to personally demonstrate the range of products.
  • Experience of selling and supporting Microsoft Application Platform and CRM sales
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management and how it fits into an organization's information strategy.
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Strong Negotiation skills.
  • An ability to think out of the box and be creative in the presentation of MDM solutions to prospective customers.
  • The ability to write compelling and persuasive arguments in emails, formal documents and sales presentations.
  • A strong willingness and appetite to travel within the territory to meet new prospective customers and partners face to face.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Information Technology or Business preferable) from a respected university
  • Advanced Degree in business or accounting preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of BI, Data Analytics, or MDM (Master Data Management) enterprise software sales experience

Compensation: A customized package including; attractive base salary; generous commission plan, with significant accelerators for hitting target; health care; retirement.
