Job Description

Leading Atlanta, Georgia based technology enabled consumer loan originator and servicer. This privately held company has developed a highly scalable loan origination and servicing platform and unique loan origination tools to deliver a differentiated level of service to its multiple stakeholders, including bank partners, merchant and retailer channel partners, consumers and borrowers. Leveraging proprietary mobile technology, the Company is currently experiencing exceptional growth in both accounts and profitability.

Our corporate headquarters is located in Atlanta, Georgia with a second operational facility in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

Position:   Merchant Performance Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities:  

* Complete initial calls with merchants to advise of the GreenSky Controlled Funding process

* Review documents that are submitted by merchants (i.e. Contracts, Payment Authorization forms, Completion Certificates etc...)

* Provide decisions for funding requests while maintaining a 24 hours turnaround time

* Communicate decisions and requests for additional documents to the merchants via email and/ or by phone

* Digitally file/store the documents received in designated locations

* Document and report funding decisions; approvals, declines, overall requests

* Audit customer payment authorization forms

* Audit merchant's transaction reports for approved funding requests

* Complete targeted outbound calling campaigns for high risk merchants

* Analyze Merchant activities to identify risks and determine solutions to minimize or eliminate those risks

* Take on special projects assigned by the Merchant Risk leadership team

* Provide excellent customer service within established service level agreements

* Adhere to established bank policies, company guidelines and all regulatory requirements

Shifts:   Shifts vary, and cover hours from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, Monday - Friday. Shifts are primarily 9 hours with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.

Organizational:   This position is a member of the Merchant Risk team and will report to the Sr. Manager, Merchant Risk

Experience and Skills:  

Required Skills & Qualifications:  

* Self-starter, works with some direction

* Document review

* Data Entry

* Customer Service

* Ability to read and comprehend transaction reports

* Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills

* Sound judgment

* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate across various lines of business

* Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word

* Ability to work independently on routine, repetitive tasks and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

* CSR experience

* Knowledge of GreenSky's products

Desired but not required Qualifications:  

* Associate's degree or some college from an accredited institution

* Bilingual; English & Spanish

* Fraud Investigation experience

* Risk Analyst experience
