As a unit within the Finance ITS (ITSFI), ITSGD is looking for .Net Developer to join its team. The ideal candidate need to be able to work within a small team and produce high results. The candidate will be involved in new development along with maintaining existing windows and web applications. Position requires expertise with the .NET Framework 3.5+, C#, ASP.NET with focus on front-end and middle-tier development. The candidate must also possess a good knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and be able to write and debug complex stored procedures. Knowledge of MVVM, WPF, jQuery, mobile application development will definitely be a plus. 

Required Experience / Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Proficient in C# and ASP.NET webforms and MVC application development: front-end and middle-tier development (3 - 5 years’ experience)

• Proficient in SQL Server 2012 database design including stored procedures, triggers, and functions

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

• Experienced using Systems Life Cycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc...)

• Proficient in Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSL, XSLT, XML Schema, CSS, DOM, HTML, AJAX and JavaScript.

• NET Framework 4.0

  • Experienced using Entity Framework 6.0 (NHibernate a plus)

• Experienced in using Reporting Tools such as Crystal Report, Telerik Reporting for .NET

 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with client side framework such as Angular 2 & Knockout.

• Strong attention to detail

• An extremely detail-oriented work ethic

• While not a design position, a feel for good web design is necessary

• Ability to follow instructions and respond to management and team direction quickly

• Ability to follow the department and organizational processes and meet established goals and deadlines
