Job Description

Our client, a mobile technology R&D company that provides wireless and video technologies for mobile devices, networks, and services worldwide, is looking to hire!

They are currently seeking a full-time MS Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations System Administrator. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of Microsoft’s Dynamics.

You are expected to be fully remote for the duration of COVID-19. Once the pandemic subsides, you will have the ability to work in either Conshohocken, PA (preferred) or Princeton, NJ.

Job Responsibilities:
Serves as System Administrator for D365 by:

  • Providing on-going support of D365 including resolution of application systems incidents, root cause analysis of problems, impact analysis and planning of proposed system upgrades and patches
  • Providing Technical and Functional Support to business users on day to day operations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP application
  • Configuring and Maintaining system workflows in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Reviewing and documenting business requirements and translate into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Participating in the evaluation, planning, system design, functional specifications and implementation of D365 enhancements, upgrades, and customization and configurations
  • Identifying opportunities to utilize new D365 features and function to improve business processes and productivity
  • Upgrading systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
  • Executing change control procedures to ensure all enhancements, upgrades and patches are thoroughly tested and planned before implementation in the production environment
  • Working with business units and internal teams to strengthen existing capabilities and user experience
  • Working with Business Analysis Team to understand needs and provide data required for external reporting and dashboards
  • Prioritize and resolve issues/tickets based on business criticality and complexity and closely working with Microsoft support team on application patches and bugs.
  • Monitoring the system daily and respond immediately to performance, security or process issues
  • Managing all D365 environments via Lifecycle Services and VSTS 
  • Managing scheduled refresh of data from Production to TEST and other development environments

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study (5+ years relevant IS experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • At least 5 years working with Financial and Project Modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.) in ERP Systems such as AX/D365 for Finance and Operations, Oracle, or SAP
  • Experience with Full Life Cycle Implementation and environment management preferred
  • Strong understanding of all System Administration and Organization Administration functionality
  • Microsoft Dynamics accreditation preferred
  • Strong understanding of Financial Processes
  • Strength in requirements gathering and process mapping
  • Ability to create customizations via SQL a plus
