Job Description

Microsoft Office 365 Administrator

Responsible for operation, configuration and security of company email, Skype, Sharepoint and Onedrive infrastructure, which is centered around Microsoft Office 365.

Provide technical expertise on e-mail, Sharepoint, Skype and OneDrive systems, taking into account security and operational requirements in a highly distributed technical environment.

Work as part of the team to develop, plan, support and secure the o365 environment.

Provide technical expertise on systems design, solve unique and complex operational problems with ActiveDirectory, Exchange server, Office 365, Federated Services, and other Windows infrastructure components.

Resolve system emergencies with significant impact on the integrity of user data and systems. Design, configure, implement, and maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures. Maintain an expert level of expertise in Active Directory, Office 365 and Azure.

  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS and 5 years exp in directly related positions

5 Years Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Office 365 products, Exchange Server and Active Directory required

3 years Experience with Skype for Business (formerly MS Lync) 

5 years of experience programming with PowerShell to automate common system administration and management tasks in a Windows operating system environment.

5 years of experience supporting a Microsoft Exchange environment (both on-line and on-prem), Office 365, and related email infrastructure; and managing systems via Microsoft System Center Operations manager and System Center Configuration Manager


  • Must have excellent organizational and project management skills Group Policy configuration and management Practical experience troubleshooting operating system performance problems Experience delivering and/or authoring technical training Knowledge of Advanced Group Policy Management Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service orientation. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Actively participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
