We're looking for a Mid-Level UX Designer for our client in the Atlanta Area. You must live in Atlanta, open to freelance/ contract-to-hire work and be able to sit onsite for this client.
You will be responsible for designing rich and intuitive user experience / user interfaces for our web and mobile products. This will include web and mobile applications, widgets libraries, and tool interfaces for our existing platform, payments, and mobile environments. The designs should satisfy simplicity, ease-of-use and a rich user experience.
Our ideal candidate will work closely and collaborate with the Product team, Development, and QA to create and build the ideal experience our customers need. Deliverables encompass everything that is needed to ensure proper documentation is created by you for everyone on the team to be able to understand your vision of the right experience both from an interaction and visual standpoint. This position requires you to be self-motivated. We #146;re a team that jumps in with both feet and does what needs to be done. You #146;ll work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. You #146;ll need to be able to deliver work on a deadline and will be critical to the overall release plan. #149; Build the supporting documentation to insure success of a healthy User Experience team while delighting our customers.
#149; Help maintain and build an easy to follow User Interface Guideline
#149; Provide a thought leadership in translating insightful business, product, user data to understand our customers needs through research, interviews, testing, collaboration, and brainstorming
#149; Capture, develop, and deliver ideas/processes that can help our patent portfolio
#149; Be an advocate for our customers
10+ years in related detail oriented work experience in consumer payment, customer banking, e-commerce is preferred
Demonstrated expert knowledge in mobile platforms (Apple and Android)
Knowledgeable about accessibility guidelines and best practices.
Passionate about creating innovative user experiences to the point of obsession
Experience launching world class UX solutions for the web and mobile.
Expert knowledge of visual, UI and interaction design principles with an eye for details and consistency.
Passionate about new web mobile technologies and techniques to help you build next gen user experiences.
Experience and understanding of Product Management and the agile process
Be able to stand by your designs and provide solid rationale to backup your decision
Cross-functional team leadership experience required with demonstrated results
Experience in leading more than one global-scale project and project teams
Set the tools standards for the team and be an expert in the use of those tools
A strong practical point of view of User Experience
Proven ability to work independently, provide project guidance and direction to help others attain their goals
