Travelers eBusiness is seeking an innovative, passionate, and energetic mobile application developer to join our fast paced application development team.
eBusiness is responsible for designing, developing and supporting Travelers’ websites, mobile applications, digital services and user experiences for our Customers, Agents, and Employees. You would be part of the team that is leading the way for the Travelers’ digital experience. We are looking for someone with strong mobile development skills using HTML, JS, Angular and also a proven work experience using the latest mobile frameworks. You will have the opportunity to create business solutions utilizing the newest technologies on responsive platforms. You will manage to the tactical and operational plan for assigned information projects of business unit significance. You will be responsible for designing / developing intuitive, engaging visual interfaces for Android and iOS. Assist in the execution of departmental and corporate programs and advocate the use of technology to develop and/or redesign the organization's process. You will also build and leverage effective alliances across technical and business community.
  1. Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS using Cordova or similar frameworks.
  2. Worked on and published at least one mobile app
  3. Experience with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS (Angular2+ preferred), NodeJS, TypeScript, Cordova framework
  4. Background and/or fundamental knowledge in .NET framework 4.0 or 4.5.2 and MVC 5.0+
  5. Java Script Unit Testing frameworks
  6. Ability to rapidly learn technical and business concepts
  7. Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
  8. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and partners required
  9. Ability to present technical concepts to technical and business audiences
  10. Commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables
  11. Experience with Source Control (GitHub preferred)
  12. Proven self-management skills that demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  13. Collaborate with the product owners and cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into functional solutions
  14. Demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results orientation

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 7 years of programming/development experience preferred. Experience as a technical lead preferred.

High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of programming/development experience required.
