We are actively seeking qualified Model Based Systems Engineers (MBSE)to join our team as we support our Clients by developing solutions for their most critical challenges.
Our MBSE Engineers use model-based and data-driven processes across multiple functionalities to improve acquisition, development and engineering life cycle support, hence qualified candidates will help lead the cultural and technical organizational transformations through application of MBSE industry best practices. We work collaboratively with our Clients to develop MBSE processes and methodologies to deliver effective mission solutions. Other responsibilities associated with this role include the following:
-Develop and execute novel model-based approaches to solve complex problems
-Apply Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tool suites to enable the use of model-based best practices in various phases of the DoD acquisition and system life cycles
-Support industry stakeholders in the application of MBSE to analysis, design, and acquisition
-Execute MBSE processes including functional decomposition, requirements development, architecture development, and test program development
-3+ years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering with SysML tools ( MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, etc.) is required
-Perform other duties as assigned U.S. Citizenship is required as is an active Security Clearance The team
Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts. Qualifications Position requirements:
A completed Bachelor's Degree in engineering, physics, programming or related technical degree, coupled with a minimum of 3 to 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience including applying Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tool suites to enable the use of model-based best practices in various phases of the DoD acquisition and system life cycles while executing MBSE processes including functional decomposition, requirements development, architecture development, and test program development. Re levant certifications (e.g., ASEP) are also required. Highly Preferred Qualifications:
How you'll grow
- Experience with requirements development and management
Familiarity with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form technical ideas to non-technical audiences
Should understand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).
F amiliarity with application of UML / SysML modeling languages and experience applying this common structure to an MBSE solution.
Familiarity with industry MBSE tools and modeling methodologies to successfully produce systems engineering models.
Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: SysML tools, MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, etc. and/or other UML based Architecture modeling tools.
