Modeling and Simulation EngineerKey Role:Leverage expertise in different tools and methods for reviewing ballistic missile models and comprehending information needed for their development. Participate in engineering technical interchange meetings with the intelligence community (IC) to better comprehend threat missile performance and characterization. Facilitate coordination with the IC for the production and delivery of necessary foreign threat models, including supporting detailed engineering discussions necessary for threat development to be used in modeling and simulation tests. Review CAD and trajectories associated with ballistic missiles ensuring the data meets the specifications required for further model development and implementation.
Basic Qualifications:-7 years of experience with DoD engineering-Experience in a modeling and simulation work environment-Experience with analysis tools, including MATLAB or Simulink-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with intelligence analysis-Experience with Impulse and Omega-Knowledge of ballistic missile systems and associated data types, including CAD, trajectories, RF, and IR signatures-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-BA or BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
