V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking a National Business Development Manager to help build out our Dallas office and travel nationally up to 50%. This is a full-time position.


The National Business Development Manager has the responsibility for establishing strategic priorities for the revenue growth on a national scale. The primary focus will be establishing new customer relationships and maintaining and growing business within new and existing clientele. This includes establishing near and short-term plans in conjunction with the management team to achieve the company's goals while creating a strong value-based brand with the customer base. The Business Development Manager will be held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the acquisition of new business and expansion of existing accounts. Strong technical staffing experience, preferably in IT, is preferred, but experience in engineering will be considered. Candidates must have the ability to travel up to 50% nationally.





Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience servicing, supporting, developing, and generating new business and major accounts.
  • Extensive sales experience in a services environment is preferred.

Recruiting experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience supporting an enterprise VMS/MSP client.
  • A technical background is highly preferred.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Research potential new business and current customers.
  • Manage assigned territory in an organized and systematic fashion.
  • Develop business through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments with new and inactive customers.
  • Focus business development and diversification in keeping with regional and national strategy.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of business plans utilizing CRM, with targeted new accounts and completely mapped territories and calendars.
  • Ensure completion of all required sales reports and detailed documentation, including timely entry of data into V-Soft’s CRM and other automated systems.
  • Generate viable job orders from new and inactive accounts.
  • Generate leads through prospecting and cold calling, both in-person and via telephone and other electronic media.
  • Partner with recruiting to schedule a qualify call in order to gain accurate job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking and niche IT organizations.
  • Meet all minimum requirements for weekly appointment activity and revenue growth.
  • Meet with manager and inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/sales opportunities.
  • Provide information on customers or prospects for bids and proposals within assigned territory.
  • Help set sales strategy and direction for the territory.
  • Develop and expand sales competency by continuing education and participation in training and seminars.
