Center City location

  • Contract to hire: 6 months, convert to permanent salary
  • Hourly pay rate: $40.00-45.00 per hour

Our customer, an MSP firm seeks a motivated individual with 2-5 years professional experience to assist with supporting IT needs.

  • The IT Support Engineer will provide front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues relating to hardware, software and cloud services. Responsible for support and maintenance of all technology systems including but not limited to local network, cloud network, applications and Cyber security.
  • The IT Support Engineer must have excellent personal and problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex situations, or when appropriate, escalate them to appropriate resources.
  • The Support Engineer will also perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills across a full spectrum technology environment transitioning many systems.


  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone and email as appropriate; highly skilled at explaining technology to lay people
  • Resolve technology issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Perform vendor administration duties
  • Manage add/changes request workflows in multiple environments
  • Develop standardized technology maintenance programs
  • Systems administration and Cyber security administration


The ideal candidate will be highly people oriented and possess a flexible and enthusiastic work style.

2-5+ years hands-on experience working in a Systems or Network admin role.

  • Microsoft Office 365 and/or MS Azure provisioning experience
  • Windows 7, 10 - Server 2008, 2012
  • Any Windows 7, 10 - Server 2008, 2012
  • Remote Desktop support
  • Active Directory and Exchange
  • Patch management
  • Advanced printer / peripheral device troubleshooting
  • Experience with TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Remote support for handheld smartphones and tablets
  • Cybersecurity concepts
  • Basic understanding of switching, routing
  • Systems admin experience
  • Prior work in the MSP sector also highly desired but not required


  • relevant: 2 years (Required)
  • Systems/Network Administrator: 2 years (Required)
  • Provision Azure and/or MS O365 experience
  • Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused

Certifications preferred: MCSA, MCSE preferred
