Job Description

Job Duties:

Plan, design, and help the networking team in establishing a network knowing the requirements of the organization or the clients

Manages the complete lifecycle of large, complex multi-phase/multi-dimensional enterprise-wide projects, and drives initiatives to extend leading solutions designed to enhance the user experience and productivity. Completes risk assessments, capacity planning and budget forecasting.

Serves as a best practice and technical expert, providing guidance to local and remote-site based installations of enterprise-wide systems and providing advanced troubleshooting of related local and remote site technologies. Provides guidance to other corporate information technology staff on projects, processes, procedures and best practice.

Researches best practices in the administration and design of collaboration technologies in the market, recommends solutions which are aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsible for ensuring security as well as regulatory and policy compliance, including required administrative reports.

Troubleshoot any kind of hardware and software problems at the end users site and make sure there is no problem in accessing any resource for the users

Update the systems regularly with antivirus, firewall and spyware and protect any kind of viruses and breakdowns in the network

Sets authentication and authorization and restricts users from accessing important and vital information available


Bachelor's Degree required; Major in Network Engineering highly desired

At least 5 years of Network Administrator experience required

Strong knowledge and skills in Cisco network IOS and equipment including routers, switches, access points, firewalls, and IDS/IPS

Strong knowledge and skills in general network principles, design, and troubleshooting including route/switch, routing protocols, ACLs, QoS, TCP/IP, and encryption.

Strong knowledge and skills in security principles, design, configuration, tools, and monitoring.

Experience with VoIP phone systems, including SIP, codecs, QoS, fax, and unified messaging.

Experience with regulatory compliance requirements, especially Sarbanes-Oxley and PCI-DSS, as they relate to network security.

Advanced skills and proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Skills in configuring, deploying, customizing, securing, and sup

Must have expertise in identifying problems in the existing systems and upgrade them with new and efficient programs
