Job Description

Expert/Advanced: Ability to apply an in-depth level of networking technical skills to solve common and complex technical issues. Performs detailed analysis, gathers business requirements, recommends, participates in the design and implementation of network and VoIP solutions. Leads projects and is capable of resource and work scheduling of individual projects. Requires limited day-to-day supervision and guidance on handling unique situations. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies.

Qualifications include:

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of Network Administration experience.
  • Cisco CCNA and BCNE certification. 
  • Valid Texas Driver's license
  • At least one of the following: DNS, TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, VOIP, Cisco Enterprise Routers and Switches, Firewall, VPN, SSL, Encryption, Radius, IP V4 & V6, Remote Access, Antivirus, SPAM, VLAN, IP Subnet, Internet Protocols

Preferences include:

  • 3 years of experience with a Masters's degree.
  • Prior experience in the health care industry including exposure to Epic Systems technologies.
