Network Engineer / Support
Minimum 3+ years of Network Engineer experience in supporting production environment including customer facing or customer support roles.
Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset.
Experience with networking concepts including Load balancer, Routing, Switching, Security
Experience and familiarity with networking tools (ping, tracert, wire shark, etc.)
Understanding geo-redundancy, CDN and VPN technologies (site to site, point to site preferred, leased line)
Experience and understanding of the OSI model and related concepts
Time of operation: This track will be in 24X7 shift model. Hence should be flexible to cover during holidays and weekends to accommodate MS roster
Handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations
Strong communications skills – Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Effective, polished interaction with customer to gather information quickly; explain customer responsibilities in resolving issue; communicate next steps and status; and inspire confidence
The successful Support Engineer has the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve difficult customer issues; directly supports customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable
Demonstrable troubleshooting skills
