Job Description

Area Information:
ICT Non-Host Deployment Services designs physical infrastructure ICT solutions.
This area obtains and builds Network LAN/WAN, and deploys powers up and connects new systems to the network, with minimum disruption to business operations.
ICT Non-Host Deployment Services also verifies systems are operational before being released to production, and provides after-care assistance as needed.
Work for ICT Non-Host Deployment Services is project driven.

Candidate Technical Background:
Palo Alto Technology Firewall (MUST have requirement)
Cisco/Cisco ISE
F5 Big IP
Must also meet all minimum requirements of the Network Engineer position.
This person should be a networking expert with experience across several networking platforms.
Expert level in Routing and Switching, Layer 3 routing protocols, MPLS, Firewall administration and Load Balancing (most desired skillset).
Platform specific technologies used at Client that experience is preferred in: Cisco ASA, Nexus, and Solarwinds.

Palo Alto Firewall Technology F5 Big IP Cisco ISE 5 year s network planning and project experience is required.
Must have demonstrated ability to replace, upgrade and transform networking configuration and equipment with minimal disruption.
Should have held positions that include networking builds and implementations.
Must be organized with great attention to detail.
CCNP or higher skill level candidates are preferred.

Will be responsible for supporting a Large Enterprise network of over 1000+ networking devices.
Will be responsible for tier 3 support when severe incidents are escalated beyond capabilities of the operational teams.
Will be responsible for carrying a project load of 8-12 projects. Projects are both internally network driven initiatives such as replacing firewalls, routers or switches approaching EOL or externally driven such as new application environments, new data center builds and expansion.

Working Relationship:

Management, Platform team (Network Experts), Network Operations, Network Compliance, Design Architecture, Project teams and Technology Vendors / Value Added Resellers (VARs).
Team Size: 12

Standard work week, on-call requirements for this position include participation in the Tier 3 rotation. Some work is project related and meeting deadlines is crucial.
Based on the project or initiative, extra hours above the standard work week are sometime required but not the norm.

Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree OR Associates in same Field above plus 2 added yrs job related exp. OR: 10 Years 4 added yrs job related work exp: 12 Years Network or related experience: 8 Years
Technical network planning and implementation experience when acting as a technical networking resource on large scale deployments: 6 Years
Experience across several networking platforms: Years
Palo Alto Technology - MUST have requirement: Years
F5 Big IP (2-4 yrs hands-on exp.): Years
Cisco / Cisco ISE (2-4 yrs hands-on exp.): Years
Layer 3 routing protocols experience (BGP, EIGRP, MPLS) most desired
Cisco switch, router, and firewall experience
Nexus, Solarwinds, Infoblox, OpenStack
Experience with Ansible is highly desired
Firewall administration and Load Balancing
