Job Description

This is a hands-on role that will manage a Network Engineering team of 11 (5 on and 6 offshore) as part of an engineering team that manages the domestic and global network operations. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the organization's Domestic and Global Data Center and remote office networks. You should have a strong Network Engineering background as well as familiarity with automation and troubleshooting complex environments.

This team does a lot of remote management with 4 data centers plus 200 remote sites and the Dallas Corporate site. The Network Engineering team is responsible for routers, switches (primarily in data centers) and security. They manage the environment, do POCs and deploy new tools and technology.

  • Hiring, growing, and maintaining a team of globally diverse engineers responsible for managing all aspects of mission-critical systems that include: DataCenters, WAN Connectivity, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, VPN, Monitoring tools, Automation
  • Provide guidance on globally redundant datacenter infrastructure as well as Cloud presence.
  • Drive automated processes and service improvements to improve day-to-day operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a culture of innovation, growth, and operational efficiency in the team.
  • Operational familiarity with Network vendors such as: Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Meraki, HP
  • Participate in incident management to resolve outages. Analyze incidents during RCA calls to eliminate repetitive issues.



Experience with enterprise network environments supporting web applications.

Experience architecting, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco platforms and technologies including:

  • Catalyst series switches 6500, 4500, 3700, 3800
  • Nexus series switches 9K, 7K, 5K
  • ASA Firewalls 5500, 5500-X series
  • Meraki MX firewalls, Meraki MR Access Points - Preferred
  • VRF, ASA Context, VDC, VPC
  • Anyconnect VPN, Site to Site IPSEC VPN
  • Standard ASA firewall services -- ACLs, Static/Dynamic/Policy based NAT
  • Scripting and Automation experience
  • Experience with Data Center design and support


  • Experience with VMWare ESX and other virtualization platforms
  • Experience with Linux


  • Experience with adhering to security best practices
  • Ability to partner with IT Security teams to quickly address and prevent security incidents
