Job Description

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated O&M DevOps Engineer to join our team in the DC Metro Area to support our government clients. The O&M DevOps Engineer is a multifaceted role working collaborating with other teams across the business.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset in, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS capabilities.

As a O&M DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Analyzes client requirements and designs solutions using security and software best practices
  • Performs and automates tests for smooth deployment of software to various environments
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
  • Responding to tickets and issues and monitoring status to successful resolution
  • Providing tier 1 support for issues and service requests through hands-on troubleshooting in the application and/or AWS console
  • Coordinating handoff to tier 2 support by contacting appropriate teams or agency personnel
  • CI/CD
  • Prepares, updates, and reviews documentation as required.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Security Clearance:US Citizenship required; TS/SCI w/Poly

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Analyzes client requirements and designs solutions using security and software best practices
  • Performs and automates tests for smooth deployment of software to various environments
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
  • Responding to tickets and issues and monitoring status to successful resolution
  • Providing tier 1 support for issues and service requests through hands-on troubleshooting in the application and/or AWS console
  • Coordinating handoff to tier 2 support by contacting appropriate teams or agency personnel
