Job Summary:

O365 Product Manager, Director is responsible for leading migration of legacy enterprise messaging and collaboration toolsets to Office 365. This leadership role will be both highly technical and strategic with full responsibility for Microsoft O365 and related products' life cycle. Responsible for creating an exciting and energizing environment focused on its people, processes, and technologies during a period of tremendous change; leading with a balanced approach to quality, risk, and cost; driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization; building a strong bench of future leaders. Identifies, manages, and mitigates risk.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead the roadmap, planning, design, and migration implementation of on-premise enterprise e-mails to Microsoft O365 cloud platform in timely fashion and without business disruption

  • Own and manage Microsoft O365 product suite and its life cycle across the enterprise

  • Build a high performing team of Microsoft Cloud SMEs while mentoring traditional platform SMEs on cloud computing best practices, technology, and adoption

  • Additional responsibilities and scope will include, but not be limited to, Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/10/13/16 in a hybrid environment

  • Work closely with Microsoft, infrastructure staff, and enterprise application owners on all O365 product patches and upgrades

  • Coordinate with related projects, software upgrades, architecture changes and implementation of new components within the environment

  • Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security to specify and document product solutions and best practices
    Facilitate enterprise messaging

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience and subject matter expertise in Microsoft Systems and Desktop Technologies, with 5+ year experience with Office 365 including migrations from on-premise to the Cloud (10k+ users)

  • Active Directory consolidation and cloud migration experience highly desirable

  • Experience planning, configuration, optimization and deploying Microsoft Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, AD, Automation, Monitor, etc.)

  • Solid technical and architectural knowledge of the following technologies: OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Windows Server Active Directory, ADFS, and MIM Sync Services

  • Experience with E-mail Archiving/Advanced E-discovery solutions, such as Enterprise Vault or MS Advanced E-Discovery

  • Solid understanding of collaboration technologies (e.g., WebEx) and audio visual systems as well as mobility (Cloud PBX), device and data management including Microsoft Intune administration

  • Windows 10 OS deployment or AWS migration experience is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university; Master's degree preferred along with relevant industry certifications (e.g. Microsoft)

  • Strong leadership attributes, business acumen, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills with willingness to travel

  • Demonstrable high Emotional Quotient

  • Passion for leading change and ability to bring others along
