We at Perspecta are currently seeking an Operations Manager - Public Trust
Responsible for all activities relating to technical guidance for planning, directing, and monitoring information systems operations. Plans and recommends machine modifications or additional equipment to increase the capacity of the system. Prepares operational cost estimates for current and proposed projects. Operations management objectives include:
Analyze the results of workflow plans, monitor both the CMES environment and CMS applications to ensure availability to end users
Propose and implement CMES system enhancements, upgrades or other changes to prevent deficiencies or improve system performance
Ensure CMES architecture and configuration is balanced between vendor-recommended and industry standard best practices, and USAO organizational needs, security requirements, risk assessment results, and other business drivers.
Monitor, maintain and analyze systems comprised of custom applications developed with Java, Oracle RDMBS, Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Identity Management.
Production system patches, updates and configuration modifications maintain previously provided functionality, provide the anticipated system enhancements and corrections, and do not cause system or application functionality issues.
Oversight of Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCCM) for Tier 3 support
CMES architecture shall include a development, test, user acceptance testing, production and disaster recovery (fail-over) environment for the CMS applications to be developed, tested, trained, and deployed on
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors Degree
- 10 years relevant experience
