NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Operations Support L2 Analyst Lead to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).Day to Day job Duties:
Working on fixing Production data issues (data and application) and providing a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and permanent solutions to recurring issues in production environment and reporting solutions to the clients
Ensure the application design and implementation meets the defined business requirements
Provide application stakeholders and technology teams, architectural guidelines for implementing scalable & maintainable systems.
Evaluate applications to determine effectiveness, compliance, scalability and recommend changes to meet organizational needs.
Follow up with third party vendors for design and/or implementation of resolution and defect prevention
Investigate application components and evaluate the design which meets business requirements.
Design the architecture for new requirements and enhancements. Document technical specifications for the related applications including High Level design and Detailed/Low Level design
Develop, enhance and support the system/application built on and using Microsoft tools and frameworks (DotNet, SSIS, SSRS), PL-SQL, Oracle and SQL Server databases, Autosys jobs scheduler, Shell Scripts, XML, JSON, SOAP Web Services, Restful API, Jenkins, GitHub, Cognos, Splunk and Tableau reporting & dashboards
Develop design documentation, installation instructions, and other platform deployment designs
Perform custom, ad-hoc data analysis and provide solutions to application stakeholders.
Monitor application operations to identify any potential issues. Coordinate with internal and external partners to understand specific system requirements
Responsible for continued system improvements to help reduce technical debt costs. Assess any system vulnerabilities and suggest long term fixes following the best practices and collaborate with the team for solutions review and resolution
Perform production, customer issues and Ad hoc requests resolution
Working on Monitoring process and software changes that impact production support, communicate project information to the production staff and raise production support issues to the project team.
Working on complex SQL scripts, store procedure/functions for performance tuning by sql profiler
Working on deployment of web, app and database servers in various environments like development, QA, UAT and production.
Performing production support activities which involves assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specific SLAs
Set up continuous automated monitoring and dash boarding using Splunk, Tableau and other base monitoring tools
Setup application in various versions of IIS and load balancers
Administer software application and assess platform issues in various environments.
Keep all application servers safe and sound in terms of vulnerability
Coordinate with application development teams to successfully deploy software release in both user acceptance testing and production environment.Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Microsoft based technologies (DotNet, C #, SSIS, SSRS) design, development, production support
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working with RDMS Databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working as a Production Support Analyst Travel:
No travel. Has to be based in Charlotte, NC.Degree:
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceNice to Have; (But not a must)
• Project lead experience
