Business Job Title- IT Systems Admin 1
Shift- 10 PM to 6:30 AM Monday through Friday - so that is start the week at 10:00 PM Monday night and end the week Saturday morning at 6:30 AM Reason for Need/ Project- Backfilling Location/ Location Preferences: Omaha candidates only at this time.
Duration/Potential Extension- 6 months
Interview Process- One round hour interview unless two is needed if there are multiple candidates. Interviews will start at 4:00pm CST.
Any challenges contractor will be facing in this role- Being able to search through available information and research available information to tie it to current incidents to see if they impact brokerage operations to then solution it. The ability to triage situations and their urgency levels using sound critical thinking and decision making based on information derived from quickly researching issues in relation to the Brokerage Operation business unit.
Top Must Have Skills/Qualifications- Must be able to understand upstream and downstream organizational impacts as a result of system issues and communicate action plans to multiple levels of management. Must be able to work independently and be proactive. The ideal candidate will not expect to have work pushed to them but will actively monitor for issues that are important to resolve for Brokerage Operations Business Partners, and will take the initiative to get involved with resolving.
Top Nice to Have Skills/Qualifications- Experience with tidal is a strong nice to have. Familiarity with Remedy to monitor progress and tie into other tools. Experience with Jira would be great as well. Ability to effectively utilize Slack to keep in touch with and be responsive to the team, communicate to our Business Partners, and as a tool to understand and be aware of Tech issues that are happening.
Soft Skills- Good communication skills. We want someone who is ready and willing to work those 40 hours per week, is reliable, will be on-time Typical Day in the Role- - They would first get up to speed on issues from previous shift, monitoring Remedy Incident Queue and working issues from that queue, monitoring the Outlook Team In-box and responding to requests and issues that arrive at that location, communicating to the business on incidents that are deemed more impactful, following up on previous incidents to identify root causes and ensuring problem investigations are completed when applicable. At end of the shift to ensure that turn over for next worker on shift is smooth,

• Two years of experience working in a service oriented role is a plus but not required
• Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, Associates, and management through verbal and written correspondence
• Ability to quickly assimilate and understand the systems and applications utilized throughout the company
• An understanding of basic Internet operations and knowledge of Windows based programs
