Meet our professionals CGI: A place to build an IT career Position Description: Sr. Technical Analyst Your future duties and responsibilities: Manages, Performs and delivers the IT service with which she or he is associated * Formulates and defines scope and objectives pertaining to the IT service * Manages and Prepares technical deliverables and/or provides input to other deliverables related to the IT service * Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary * Devises or modifies procedures to resolve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Data Analysis Data Analytics Experience with complex data model supporting multi-faceted business process Strong Oracle Background and experience with: #LI-MP Can navigate their way through Oracle Packages/Procedures and Functions * Understand SQL Loader Understand specific SQL concepts beyond basic INSERT, DELETE, SELECT: Such as... * - understanding Union versus Union All * - using WITH statements * - using parameters * - Outer Joins * - Correlated Subqueries * - Case Statements/Decodes * - database links Experience with other Web & Cloud tools(HTML, JAVA script and AWS) - we are working with Oracle in the Cloud.
