Job Description

  • Assist in the design, standardization, and implementation of a globally distributed automation platform.

  • Lead the consolidation and migration of the CMIT workload automations onto Control-M

  • Responsible for ensuring maximum platform availability and prompt and accurate remediation of issues

  • Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders

  • Actively manage infrastructure to drive efficiency

  • Collaborate with development team and vendors to resolve issues and improve our platform

  • Proactively drive IT governance and de-risking initiatives

Required Skills-Must have

  • Strong working knowledge implementing and configuring BMC’s Control-M in high availability enterprise environment.

  • At least 5 years of experience in CONTROL-M.

  • Prior in-depth experience automating and monitoring large-scale, enterprise-wide, mission critical platforms

  • Managing batch workload on Control-M/EM

  • Expand Control-M enterprise-wide scheduling capabilities for new interfaces and applications by bringing new physical and logical servers into Control-M, installing new components which allow for new job types, new options Mainframe Support.

  • Experience using BMC Control-M for batching jobs.

  • Automation, Job Development and Support with BMC Control-M Desktop/Enterprise Manager

  • Experience using Control-M and BMC Enterprise Manager.

  • Working knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, PERL, Shell Scripting,VBS, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of Windows, LINUX and SQL

  • Strong communication; Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate well with others, be strategically focused, and constantly looking to improve our environment

  • Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent

  • Understanding of command line scripting required.

  • Problem solving ability and skills in developing acceptable solutions to customer problems.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Exposure to project management principles and techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

  • ITIL certification.


  • Working knowledge of configuring and monitoring ITRS

  • Working knowledge of other scheduling platforms (e.g., Tidal, AutoSys, etc.)
