Job Overview:

This position is responsible for performance that promotes excellent customer service and an overall service excellence philosophy. This position will (1) be the primary analytical support for assigned departments and their systems, (2) work with assigned departments to evaluate and document their requirements, review and track their projects, (3) develop enhancements to applications, reports, interfaces, and systems, (4) develop a thorough understanding of business functions, (5) design or assist in the selection and installation of complex financial, research and administrative systems and (6) monitor information technology output for quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

Experience Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting, extending, and customizing Oracle E-Business Suite financial applications (version 12 or higher).
  • Experience managing the development and upgrading of Oracle Financials modules such as GL, Payables, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management applications
  • Experience evaluating and improving financial business workflows with software solutions.
  • Experience as a project manager for department-wide systems initiatives.

Job Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong technical understanding of Oracle applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets.
  • Some skills in Oracle development environment and tools, including ADI, OFA, Discoverer, Apex, JDeveloper and PL/SQL
  • Ability to develop detailed user requirements/specifications documentation supporting complex system enhancements.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of data models and database design concepts.
  • Must have knowledge of development life cycle and production environment procedures in an Oracle applications environment.
  • Must have excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems.
  • Must have demonstrated, excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person.
  • Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
